It depends on how quickly the candidate fills in the form and how quickly employers, schools and references respond. A typical check finishes within 1–2 weeks. You receive status updates along the way and can follow progress with the advisor in charge.

How is consent and GDPR handled?

The candidate gives written consent before the background check begins, and the consent is timestamped in the system. All processing happens within the EU/EEA, and Cruit follows Datatilsynet's guidance for background checks in hiring.

What does it cost?
